Any recommendations for hair clippers which will be suitable for dh and ds (who is 2 but we have used clippers on him since he was about 10 months). We got some new Phillips ones but they are crap so does anyone know of any good (but cheapish) makes we could get instead.

Dh uses Remington, newer version of his. Does the job though, and you can get replacement bits

I'll check which ones we use tonight.

any other recommendations or does everyone on here get their dh to pay for a proper haircut?

SOrry - forgot to check last night. Now won't be home until tomorrow night.

Dh cuts his own hair with the clippers. Does a reasonable job, except for the time he forgot to put the guard back on, so had a lopsided "bald" patch....

I do ds' hair and even if I say so myself, do quite a good job. You do still need to finish off with scissors around the ears though.

As a hairdresser, I wouldn't use anything other than Wahl.

I've got Remington ones too which are fine. I don't have anything to compare them with though.
