Hi,

Panasonic DM-EH50 player has stopped recording sound. Picture is fine. Previously recorded stuff on the hard drive is fine. Dvds play ok as well, its just if we try to record, there is no sound.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Any advice you have would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Check all cables are properly plugged in at the back - ours did this because one was wasn't properly connected.

try here not quite the same model but might help.

Thanks.

We've checked the cables and think we've done it ok. Can you remember which one in particular castille?

Fruitshootsandheaves, we've also posted on that site but thought I might get a quicker answer here. Thanks.

We were wondering whether there was maybe too much stored on the hard drive and if cleaning it up might help.

Oh heck, no it wasn't me that sorted the problem. I sent skinny DD1 into the dark and dusty void to do the dirty work But it could have been the one connecting the DVD to the skybox.

Some of them need a very firm push.

If the hard drive is full it just won't let you record, I don't think.

Thanks again.

I will relay all information.
