Need a new sling for 6 months plus - anyone got a peanut shell?

DD wants to be carried everywhere and am fed up of tying the hugabub that we got for her as a newborn plus it has become very uncomfortable. Saw peanut shell pouch slings in tk maxx today for £20 and was very tempted but thought I'd see if anyone has got one? Have had a few ring slings in the past and never really got on with them, is there anything very easy to put on that I should consider?

I had a hugabub for DD when she was little - but it did start to struggle by the time she was about 7 or 8 months.

Personally I don't find one-shoulder carrys comfy for long so I moved on to a woven wrap (much more sturdy than the HAB and didn't "roll" at the edges, which mine had started to do) and a selection of Mei Tais. None of them as easy as a pouch, but all more supportive...

Just had a quick look and peanut shells tend to go for about £10-£13 2nd hand (here, if you search)

I wouldn't go for a pouch at this stage - one shouldered is just too hard when they are big and carried all the time.

IMO MeiTais are great, esp as you can front, hip or back carry so very versatile
