This one:

Looks like a slightly better alternative to Ikea Antilop, anyone tried it?

Looking for a basic lightweight highchair for a toddler for breakfast in the kitchen only.

Use handysitt for dinner at the table

Thanks in advance

i was looking at this too as i need one for everyday use at every meal, so wondered if its good?

Looks alright, but can't see why it's that much better than the antilop, tbh. I love the antilop as it travels well.

Well, it has a footrest so legs don't dangle and also the tray is adjustable so can be pushed closer (closing the gap for dropped food) and looks like it has a higher back so possibly more comfortable.

Going to make a trip to Argos tomorrow to have a look but just thought I'd see if anyone uses one here

i think it looks great. wouldn't have thought the backrest height would be relevant to comfort, particularly. and i know what you mean about the footrest but every time i sat dd in highchairs with one she'd stand up and jump about. so footrests not for me, funnily enough.

but the adjustable tray thing might be good.

Thanks...Have re read the reviews on the Argos web page and it also converts to a low chair for later.

Think it offers quite a lot for the price.

Ikea Antilop is my next in line if I don't like this

Thought I'd update, picked it up today and wasn't impressed - returning tomorrow

  • My dd keeps kicking the footrest off
  • The back is a separate piece, with pressure my dd can prob snap it out of place
  • flimsy and wobbly design
  • legs too far apart

I want to go to Ikea and get the Antilop but hate going there
