Wetsuit for 11 month old- worth it? Good ones?

I've just got back from taking DD to the swimming baths for the first time and she seemed quite keen but it was really cold in there and she only lasted about 20 minutes before she started shaking. I know you can get wetsuits for babies but are they really effective? If I could I'd like to make it comfortable for her to stay in for longer as DS (4) loves it in there.

Not worth it. If you can get one, get a UV suit. The little ones with full length legs and arms.

We got DS his first wetsuit(3mm) when he was 3 as he liked to go in the sea when DH was diving. They aren't easy to get on and off due to being tight. Also, may cause issues with your little ones nappy.

DD has had a wet suit from 8 weeks when we first took her swimming - we have used the splash about ones - even now at 9 months she still has one and can stay in an hour without getting cold, we forgot the wetsuit a couple of weeks ago and she was shaking after 20 minutes! up to 6 months she had a baby snug (with arms)- now she has a wrap type one (is great as just velcro her in!) - well worth the money!
