I need a leaproof school bottle for DTDs and saw hem mentioned on another thread...they look good but expensive

Are they truely leakproof? Are the lids leakproof too? That seems to be the failing point of most bottles.

What is the best lid for 8yo's? Would it be teh kids one or the active one?

I have a couple that the kids take water to school in - no leaks at all which is more than I can say for other metal drinking bottles. Worth the investment (as long as you can stop yourself from throttling them when they lose them!!).

We have a couple. They can leak after a while and kids must remember to screw them back up fully to seal. Hardwearing and cots about £12 plus iirc .

That's sooooo expensive though....I have 2 to buy and I know that it will be a good investment in the long term...but.....

In the good old days when I was a young thing doing DofE we were told they used to take a SIGG bottle, run it over with a tractor - and it STILL didn't leak. I've had mine for 15 years or more now, and its still going strong - the worst that's going to go wrong, really, is they need a new seal for a few pence.

They are a good investment, honestly.

hmm you know, years of packed lunches and school bottles tell me these are better but they do get lost and you do have to do the lid up properly for it not to leak.

In the end, I have always gone back to crappo plastic bottles that you buy mineral water in iyswim.

Don't you mean Fuit shoots fox ?

I have a few sigg bottles myself and my DS has had on for a couple of years . They are great . They are totally leak proof.

I guess any bottle leaks if you do not put the top on properly ggirl
