Our old camcorder has died a death so we need to replace it but I am bamboozled by the choice. First some basic questions though - what do digital camcorders record onto and how do I then get those pictures onto a DVD, (presumably via my DVD hard drive/player)? Also I would like something quite lightweight but as ever, budget is a big consideration so I don't want to spend a fortune. It's just for casual and occasional use so nothing fancy required. TIA.
