talk to me about bread makers!
for family of 5 would it work out cheaper or more expensive than buying bread.also is it hard?new or seconhand?etc etc!

I have a Panasonic 255 too, love it. I got it because there were so many good reviews of it on Amazon. I usually use the rapid bake recipes, but does anyone know if there is any difference in taste or anything else if you use the 4 or 5 hr version? Love the spicy fruit loaf recipe!

navyeyelasH, all the recipes in the book with my breadmaker use yeast, don't know if you could substitute it with anything else to make it rise?
