Those with plastic sandpits - advice needed

Seen a cheapo plastic one. It has a lid and I was planning on covering it with tarpaulin and weighing it down with bricks. Will this keep the sand nice and clean?

How is DS nappy?

That should be fine, we've never had any problems with ours. In the summer, we just replace the lid and it's fine. I usually give it a good wash in the spring when DD wants to use it again and buy new sand for it too.

That should be fine - although I find that a cover becomes completely redundant by the time dd2 has turned it all into mud
