just got a maclaren xt off ebay - cant work out brakes 'elp!

Just by the wheels, you should see the brakes you just pull them back with your foot IYKGWIM.

If it is an older model, they might have the type of brakes that stick up between the back wheels, you push them sideways with the top of your foot, firmly! The newer models have a lever to push down.

There's a foot pad over the back wheels. Push down with your foot to brake. Push up with your toe to release.
