I really, really dislike pushchairs and have been trying to figure out if I will actually be able to do without one Without exception, they are all unstylish in the extreme. It probably doesn't help that my older dds were both 5 years old before they grew out of them!

Yesterday I was in a shop and I saw a lady with a really lovely push chair - it was so much nicer than anything I had ever seen I almost chased her out of the shop to ask where she got it! I must have pregnancy brain, I think

Annoying thing is, I still don't know what it was!

Right, I will bring in some fellow huns in a minute for you. But I cannot resist a challenge! Start by describing it.

Flightattendant27 · 16/02/2009 09:41

I would have chased btw

Just get a sling (or many ) - totally stylish and much easier to handle

electra · 16/02/2009 09:48

It had the baby facing mum, was fairly simple looking with a black bar across the front and a hood at the back. The wheels were tyre like but not massive, and the fabric on the seat was brown with a kind of flowery embroidered pattern on it. I have never seen anything like it. Sorry about the vague description but in the past all I have had is Mclaren

Oh yes I will be getting a sling or two!

Hmm I am wondering about the Quinny Buzz possibly? That can rear face. Not sure about the brown floral thing though.

Anything like this?

electra · 16/02/2009 10:20

Yes it was a bit like that but the baby was facing the other way....I presume you can move them though?

OP posts:
Flightattendant27 · 16/02/2009 10:21

Yes it can face both ways.

plusonemore · 16/02/2009 11:44

or this?

electra · 16/02/2009 12:31

It did look a bit like both of those but with brown, floral print...

Could it be a bugaboo with a custom hood?

You can get custom hoods on ebay.

imoscarsmum · 16/02/2009 13:05

Was it an iCandy? I have one and LOVE it. not seen very often, so people often look at it and pushchair and pram bit can face both ways. here

I don't get on with slings as i carry alot with me.

EyeballsintheSky · 16/02/2009 13:22

That Mothercare xcursion is such an iCandy rip off! I love my Apple too, it gets lots of stares.

imoscarsmum · 16/02/2009 13:44

Eyeballs Bugaboo people often do a double take as the Apple pram is a bit similar to theirs but they can't quite place it...
