I think you only get the kit to convert your doubles kit into the bouncer/toddler seat so you would already need to have a P&T.

I got a phil & teds sport ready for dd#3 (who is due in just 11 days!). I quite fancied the lazy ted to go with it but dp reminded me how dd#2 wrecked her bouncy chair as a newborn as a result of leaking poo nappies all over and throwing up on it! After a few times thro the wash machine the fabric was shrunk a bit and spoilt. Didn't really matter tho as chair had only cost a tenner.

DP however didn't want phil $ teds doubles kit to go the same way (i.e. trashed by a leaky newborn) given that the doubles seat itself is pretty expensive and to be honest i think he has a decent point. Have decided to go for another £10 bouncy chair!

xx

Am I the only one who was so neurotic that I lay DS on a blanket when he was in his bouncer

Nappyaddict, no my dd always had a layer between her and the bouncer, easier to wash!

I bought a P&T lazy ted the other week. Dd2 not due til April, but it seems pretty sturdy and very bouncy, lol. Toddlers can use it too as a seat, although am trying not to let dd1 do this as I'll never get her out it when the newbie arrives. I thought it would be quite good to sling it in the P&T if I was visiting someone...tah-dah...takealong baby seat!

Thanks for your replies.
I already have the P&T with doubles kit so thats not a problem. I know the bit to convert it to a bouncer is quite expensive so didnt want to go wasting money.
Baby no 4 is due in just under 5 weeks but we already have a bouncer chair for him/her but like someone else said it would be easier to have if you were to pop round someones house etc.

Hmmm not sure whether to get one or not lol

If it helps I got mine brand new on ebay for £25 from BeGees Nursery store.

If you can get one on ebay I would but otherwise I don't think I'd bother. I used to just lie DS on a blanket or a few cushions if we went to someone's house.
