First Holy Communion dresses

I want a dress for my 8yr old DD.
I hate the 'Bride of Christ' look on so many websites or worse, the 'tarty' look.
I want some pretty,but understated and not too expensive!
Any suggestions please?

I have only one DD and there are no more in the family, (I have 4 younger nephews!) so don't want to spend a fortune.

I bought one from 'onespecialday' on ebay. It was lovely, I too hate the lace, frills thing, it was quite plain.
I think I paid £40 which was good considering all the others I saw were double that.

I just remembered dds dress came with bolearo and bag not advertised on little angels, its making feel a tad better

Go into little angels site its the firstphoto with 2 little girls in it, dress no 91213, only in white, only my dd is going to wear her hair up in a bun

Check out Trumpets and Tiaras who have lots of beautiful and simple Holy Communion dresses at reasonable prices. Definitely not the Bride of Christ look!
