iTeddy...yes or no?

I have been thinking about buying this for my music loving dd2's birthday as it is on sale in Tesco atm. But I am reading mixed reviews.

People either seem to love it or hate it. I am quite pc savvy and also know two pc experts who would help if needed.

Is it worth it or not? Are the problems with the bear or just that the reviwers I have read do not know how to upload things correctly?

My friend has one and let her kids have it as a bear without realising its music function lol... personally it looks a bit gimmicky to me but if you are confident with PCs, i am sure your dd will love it
