Steering wheel toy to fit in car for pre-schooler?

My little brother had one of these - it stuck to the dashboard with a suction cup and he could pretend to steer and indicate etc. Is there a modern, safe version of this? My dd would love it. It would need to fit on to the back of one of the front seats, though.

We have one that we got from the ELC - £20 and it clamps to a car seat and a buggy...

We have the ELC centre one too - blue plastic with steering wheel, indicaters, horn, etc. Gets a bit annoying withthe sound effects on a longer journey though. My only concern with this is that it is quite hard plastic. I do wonder that if there was a crash, whether it might do DD any damage???
