Pedometers - anyone got one?

I cannot get mine to count properly I've tried shortening my stride measurement, lengthening it & it keeps counting about 23 steps for my ten. DH threw the instructions out & it's just sitting doing nothing. Bit like myself
Any help appreciated.

Whereabouts are you clipping it to? Sometimes it can be affected depending on what clothes you happen to be wearing.

It seems to be counting DH's correctly & we've got it on in the same place. Maybe I do walk 3 times as many steps as him!
