Front facing car seat that fits in Ford Ka

I am struggling to find a front facing car seat that fits into a Ford Ka. I have been to Mothercare today and they weren't that helpful. The only one they said would fit comfortably was a Maxi Cosi that is £180. Think that is really expensive and would be really interested to hear what other people have found good (and cheaper!). My little girl is one and has only just got to 20 pounds, which is why I am looking for a car seat now.

I had to hire one once when ours was in garage and our Britax Freeway fitted, now badged as Fisher Price. . Have you looked on the Britax fitfinder ?

we got or car seat from Halfords and they were really helpful.
