It is DD's birhday in early April and have started to think of present ideas.

Will need ideas for grandparents and aunties/uncles, as well as a big present from me and DH.

Trouble is she is an only child, and we have a relatively big family - she is only grandchild on one side, and one f two the other side - so she already has far too much!!! Fortunately she remains unspoilt IMO

So, what types of presents have your 7yo girls been enjoying recently?

Only ideas she has suggested so far is a school role play set and a post office set.

Dd1 will be 8 next month and has asked for lts of books, mostly Enid Blytons that we are missing.

Also HSM 3 dvd.

She got a perfume lab for chrsitmas and loved it. She would like the soap one form the same series.

She has a post office and doesplay with it. Actually she was bought a sweet shop also at Chrsitmas and has enjoyed that!

DD saw a sweet shop on Amazon. My only concern was hat happens when the sweets run out.

lol at sweets running out!

DD who is 7 as you know had a Nintendo for Christmas - you have one already I think? Games always good tho.

DD also likes books - Secret Seven current fave, also Roald Dahl, Michael Morpurgo etc.

Polly Pocket
My Little Pony still popular
DVDs
CDs
How about an MP3 player as big gift?
Clothes go down well at this age I find - sweet T shirts etc. DD went through the Boden catalogue and marked it up
(then I recycled it )

Crafty stuff, e.g. design your own t-shirt, make bracelets, clay etc....
