Dd is nearly 8mo and I want to have her facing out. Her legs are very far apart though and she doesnt seem comfy. If I tuck her legs in she is still unhappy!

Is it outward facing from a certain age? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks x

If you want her facing out I think you'd be better off with a wrap sling.

I thought with the Mei tai the baby could only face in.

Facing in is ergonomically best for both of you with all carries really. Have you tried a high back carry if she would like to see more?

Thanks both. I tried having it a bit higher with her facing me and it was much better.

In the instructions it shows a 'toddler' facing out and in and on the hip. Dd is happy facing me and on the hip but defo not facing out. I think I will forget that for a while.

have you tried her with her on your back, so she can look to the side? Usually that's the most comfortable for you.
