Where can I find child size 3 wellies?

My DD has just started walking but is so small her first shoes had to be cruisers not walkers. She takes 2 1/2 shoes so am looking for size 3 wellies but all the obvious places only seem to start from size 4 or 5. Any recommendations for sources of tiny wellies?

I got some gorgeous ones last year from next I also saw some BN on ebay.

Maybe try mothercare too?

bodiddly · 06/02/2009 21:44

have you tried ebay?

ilovetochat · 06/02/2009 21:45

my dd is a 3 1/2 and i had to buy size 4 wellies as couldn't find any smaller, they were from brantano who also stock clarks shoes.

I got some lovely ones for DS2 from a freecycler. They don't get much wear in that size

Lionstar · 06/02/2009 21:47

Size 4 was the smallest I could find. Togz (or similar) do overbooties, which are kind of waterproof bags that go over their feet and tie on their calves. That way you can just use regular shoes underneath.

I got size 4 from boots as I coudn't get size 3's.

Washersaurus · 06/02/2009 21:58

Have a look here

Washersaurus · 06/02/2009 22:00

Oh forget that, they all start at 4 too! DS2's are a size 3 (yellow postman pat) so you must be able to get them

Washersaurus · 06/02/2009 22:02

size 3 pink flowers here

I'm sure I got some size 3 in mothercare not too long ago

mejon · 07/02/2009 19:24

I got DD some size 3 wellies from Asda. They are pink with glitter in. They are only just too small now. I've still got them so you are welcome to have them if you don't get any luck anywhere else.

Dunnes stores- £3

bababelle · 08/02/2009 11:35

Thanks everyone for all your help and especially mejon for the offer of the wellies. We are off to try Asda now! Also thanks for the overbooties tip Lionstar - didn't know about those and they look just the thing for cold feet in the carrier!

Just came across these overbooties which are fleece lined if your are looking to keep little tootsies warm.

bababelle · 09/02/2009 09:54

Well the hordes have been through Asda already. Only 2 pairs of size 7s left...So have ordered my teeny wellies from them online, very excited, and have also gone for these - the Muddy Puddles ones looked great but the hordes have already cleared them out too...
