i have just had a look on dance direct at the pink leather ballet shoes and was wondering what size to get my DD.

She is 8.5 and i had read better to go a size bigger but they don't do half sizes, should I but the 10. She is only going to do ballet until June so obvioiosly don't want to spend much and would like to get them from this site as they are much cheaper.

has anyone any advice or has anyone bought the ballet shoes from this site

advice much appreciated

Yes get a 10. The shoes can always be made to fit by tightening the strings.

Why dont you ask the seller to measure the foot part and then compare it with her footprint - draw round her foot on paper and measure it.

I have done this with ballet shoes as different makes can fit differently!

Def get a 10,especially if your dd has wide or wide ish feet.Mine often have to go two or more sizes up (we have welsh snowshoe type feet in my family)
