Ideal size for a changing bag

Hi,

I want to buy a changing bag to supplement my usual handbag (so I'll be carrying 2). That way DH or I can grab it and I'll still have my usual handbag stuff with me at all times.

I'm considering these bags at American Apparel but am not sure which ones are the best size.

Any advice appreciated!

Interesting site. I think if you and dh are both using it then you need to choose something neutral, not too girly IYSWIM.
To choose size - make a pile of everything you will put in the bag to get a rough idea.

i like the back pack thing as it then leaves me with 2 free hands.

Don't spend too much - I found I needed a different one fairly regularly as what I needed to carry about changed and/or got bigger!
When LOs are very small, a change of clothes and a nappy change is fine, but as they get bigger, you need bigger clothes, bigger nappies, bottles, drink, food etc

Way too girly for your DH. We just use a little daypack rucksac from Millets that has loads of room for everything, plus room for shopping
