we had 2 Tesco ones before and they both died, then we got a Cookworks ones, and it nearly set on fire (was smoking badly), and now my, ermm err, can't remember off hand microwave has gone bang

OK, maybe Tesco's not such a good idea. John Lewis' products are generally reliable, but will be more expensive, of course.
