footmuff or snow/pramsuit?

Any advice on which is better?
DS has outgrown his 0-3month pramsuit and i'm wondering whether its better to just get a footmuff. At least there are no issues with outgrowing the size and ds can easily slide into the footmuff. With the pramsuit it was always a struggle to get it on.

If I buy a pramsuit, does it make sense to buy 6-9month size, which may be a little loose and airy but it should at least last a little longer.

Footmuff (a good quality thick one), it'll fit for years and you can just put DS in a normal coat.

I'd second a foot-muff too. Although I only used mine for about a week as really annoyed me having to yank it back into position everytime I wanted to get ds in pushchair so I've always used blankets

yes footmuff

get a decent waterproof one as they keep the wind off better than just fleece

next winter he'll be walking and need a 12m snowsuit or jacket & dungarees anyway (grab one now in the sales)

Thanks - that makes sense as next winter the footmuff will not be of any use.

I'm scouring the sales websites right now !

yes a good footmuff, which should last you at least a couple of seasons. i do have my ds2 who's 18m in a jojo polartec suit AND a footmuff in this weather tho tbh!
