Hi, does anyone know where I can get not-too-babyish transfers/stickers for my 1 year old son's wall. I don't like any of the Disney/Warner Brothers stuff. I have found some nice nautical and ABC type transfers from in the JMB catalogue, but they are quite pricey. Mothercare only do friezes and regular wallpaper.
Thanks for any info.

Hi Inga - the Linenstore has heaps of stickarounds for around £15 per pack. I bought the animal alphabet ones for dd1's bedroom and they look fab.

I've used the animal alphabet ones too - I think I got them from B+Q (or another diy store) for about a tenner. They look great, and have provided endless hours of entertainment in trying to work out which animal the 'grunt' sticker is supposed to go with...there's also an 'oink', so it's not the pig.

Good point Pimpernel! I've just looked in dd1's room and I put it next to the giraffe (!!! those well-known grunting animals!). Oh well, it begins with g I suppose. When she gets older I'll have to bluff it out as 'spot the deliberate mistake', the way teachers did at school.

There are some nice ones here , if you want to do something a bit more ambitious than just "stickers".

Alternatively if you've got a good colour printer and access to some decent vector clipart of the subjects you want you could probably make your own - have a look at this for an idea of what could be done. I reckon if you get some self-adhesive inkjet paper these could easily be done at home up to A4 size (or bigger if you've got a wide format printer).

Off topic, but I don't think giraffes can make any sound at all...
