Paint removal

can anyone surgest anything that will get paint of metal curtians poles??? don't want to sratch it as it may bring the colour off.

Let it dry and then scratch it with your nail (if emulsion) or with a knife if glos. I'm afraid the pole will get damaged but you can try to reduce that damage to a minimum and then hang it with the damaged bit looking towards the wall.

Hope somebody else have a better idea.

You could try spraying it with WD40 first and then attacking it with the abrasive side of a washing up sponge. I did this after our decorators got gloss paint all over our metal radiator controls and it worked well.
