Cleaning footwell of phil &teds sport?

My beautiful pink camo p&t sport has some mud like scuffs on the footwell, my little DD 18 months inflicted them during a tantrum! I have gently rubbed with a wet wipe but they don't want to budge. Can anyone recommend a cleaning product or method that will not ruin the fabric?

Thanks in advance!

Mine is black and grey so this might not work on yours but I just give mine a good hoover with the upholstery brush and it seems to take it off.

Does any1 else have any ideas?

I used to just take the footwell off and bung it in the washing machine - that was with a navy one.

I use one of those pan brushes and washing up liquid to clean my footwell which is blue camo.

Thanks nemo and millarkie. i will give both a try! Will do brush and wash up liquid first (as am lazy and this sounds easier!) then will try wash mashine if no joy.

mmmmmm. Buggy is in boot of car at mo and am nearly 37 weeks preg and there is snow everywhere so that is my excuse for not carrying into house at mo!

Will get dp to do it tonight when he is in from work. I don't remember the footwell being detachable on its own - but then i have not really looked at it closely. Fingers crossed that it is, if not the hopefully the washing up brush and fairy liquid will do it!

sport footwell has to be unscrewed unlike on the E3 which I also used to chuck into the washign machine..sport seems a bit harder to just chuck in..lazy wench not wanting to find a screwdriver in the shed here..lol

i know, i know, i am just sitting here eating chocolate and getting fatter instead!

So nemo, can you unscrew just the footwell on its own? Cos i will be up for making dp do that! just don't fancy having to chuck the whole seat cover into wash (if footwell is attached to it) as thankfully that bit is clean.

Did you have any probs with shrinkage when you washed it or did it go back onto the frame easily?

Thanks!
