Hi
I won't bore you with the details but ordered a highchair from TLF a few weeks ago and has not arrived, no response, etc,etc - I'm sure many of you know the score - I wish I had done some reading up on them before I placed an order, but a friend of mine recommended them........
Anyway, not sure if anyone has written to them before, so excuse my naivety if they have, but just posted my complaint with Watchdog on their website. I just wanted to invite any other angry mums to do the same so that we might actually get some sort of action from these cowboys!
Thanks ladies!

Don't touch them with a barge pole. It was through a thread i started on here in 2006 that they featured on watchdog. Keep on letting Watchdog know and they might highlight them again.

They continuously put new mums in turmoil - by holding onto the money without supplying the goods which means most people can't buy alternatives in time. Outrageous.

I contacted their local trading standards (bedford i think), who knew about them. They sent me a useful letter template to chase them. I also went on the watchdog website and shopped them - thinking i wouldn't hear anything. I nearly fell over when they rang me. (They even asked if i'd appear on the progamme). They featured and shamed them. So it's definatley worth doing.

Don't use them and good luck if you are fighting them. They are an awful company who shouldn't be allowed to trade.

Yes, count us in too - still waiting for a refund for the pushchair that never turned up ... 6 months ago.

Just a wee update to all interested in seeing Richard Bone get his come-uppance. BBC Watchdog are on it. Had them on the phone today to see if I'd take part in filming tomorrow.

Coincidentally, I got an email from twoleftfeet yesterday to say a cheque is on its way - after 6 months of being ignored! Interesting timing.

I'd say this is all quite successful. If you're wondering how to get your refund, I'd advise you do what I did. After many fruitless attempts to call and email them, I got in touch with Consumer Direct (via the website on which I used letter templates to send the company) and they then pursued the thing on my behalf after the specified period of time had elapsed for them to have sent the refund. Then I went onto the BBC website and let Watchdog know my story.

My only hope is that the cheque actually arrives and that it doesn't bounce...or that the company doesn't go bust before we all get our money back.
