Red House childrens' books - anyone else had/having problems lately?

Ordered some books 2 weeks ago, my card was charged on the same day, but no there's sign of the books.

Until a couple of days ago the order was 'open' on their system. Now I can't get their site to load at all.

Are they always this useless? Have they gone under?

We placed an order about 10 days ago and got it in about a week, which is a little slower than normal but everything was okay though.

I don't think they've gone under. Perhaps ring the customer services number. It should be in the email confirmation of the order.

Actually, now I think on it we ordered from the Book People as well around the same time and they were a bit slower too, order arrived and was correct, but a bit later than normal.

No phone number on the confirmation email, but I phoned The Book People to see if they could help. Apparently they're 'a bit busy' at the moment so won't be able to send my order out until the start of next week.

So much for 3-5 working days.

I know they're cheap, but I'm not impressed...
