baby sling/pouch

DC 3 due in 2 weeks. I need a sling/pouch which is very easy to slip on and off when I go to collect my dc's from nursery. I go by car but really don't want to lug the baby in the car seat into the nursery, lots of steps etc.
Anyone have any ideas on which type to get?
Also, I live abroad and it is very hot in the summer, although it is cold at the moment, so is there anything that is suitable for all weathers?
Thanks

For popping in and out, a pouch sling will be the best, but I don't know about really lightweight fabric ones. You can get gauze or solarveil fabric ring slings that are cool and quick to use

I have just bought a hotsling for my DC3 (who is also due in 2 weeks) for exactly the same reason as you! here I can't tell you how good it is but is was recommended by a friend. (Got a matching one for DD too!!)

ita pouch sling or ring sling with solarveil would suit. but cotton is just fine as its very breathable as is believe it or not wool and hemp

Thanks for the replies.
Are ring slings fiddly to put on? I presumed a pouch style would be easier to slip on and off. I have a Wilkinet which i used with my other dc's and will with this one, but I want something easier to pop on and off just to dash into school!

You just stick them over your head, hold the baby to you, and pull on the end to tighten it up - really easy, and more secure than a pouch - also less size dependant
