Do you own a Britax baby seat?

I need you help please.
I am looking at buying this car seat
www.mumsnet.com/Reviews/CarSeatsFromBirth/38-britax-cosy-tot-premium-with-isofix/
and wondered what you all thought of it.
It fits in my car safely and even on my Joovy caboose buggy but i still have a few questions..
Does a newborn lay flat-ish when they are in it (like the maxi cosi) or are they pretty upright (i have a Graco that ds seems too upright)?
Can i buy a rainproof hood instead on the one supplied? This would be fab because the hood on my buggy wont cover the whole carseat so when it rains the baby may get a bit wet as the supplied hood doesn't look waterproof.
Any ideas or suggestions will be great.

I have this one - was happy that it felt safe and secure for my DD up to almost 1.

She was reclined back but I wouldn't say she was flat. Occasionally due to wobbly head whilst dropping off she would end up with head tucked forward. Similar to maxi cosi mind - see britax on left, maxi cosi on right

It came with a waterproof cover that fitted over the whole thing. Was a bit stiff and crackly though and once out of the net bag took extreme efforts to get it back in.

The hood isn't great for keeping the sun out when the car seat is on the pram frame.

Thanks for that mooki-beautiful dc's!
I take it by the time the photos were taken the newborn insert was taken out.

We used this one for both our DCs. I wouldn't say it lies flat, and we only ever used it in the car buying a pram so baby could lie flat when we were out for a walk. it is a great carseat though, especially if you're using the isofix which makes it a doddle to install. My daughter used it for 18 months and son for 13 months so we definitely got our money's worth too.

Blimet Jetgirl-you really did get your moneys worth.

Just had a thought....could the hood off a Graco car seat (attached with hook and eyes) be fitted to the Britax car seat?It is waterproof and i have one here.
