Using a babyhawk/mei tai with a newborn.

Hi all,

I have a babyhawk already. I brought it for dd3 when she was 9 months old and I love it. I am due my first ds in April and am thinking of going without a puschair in favour of a babyhawk. The thing is I will have to buy a new one as dd's in pink and chocolate colour and she is only 2 and small so still uses it occasionally.

My question- has anyone used a babyhawk or similer with a newborn? If so how easy did you find putting your little one in and how comfy do you think they were?

Any other comments would be great. Thanx

Pink

yup i used a mei tai from birth with no problems. you just need to probably fold the waist band up one or two times and then 'froggy' babys legs so that his/her bottom is lower than their legs and make sure the legs stay in of course.
HTH

you might like to try a wrap too as they are lovely and comfy
