panic not , he won't be aeating anything for some time! Atm ds2 sits in bouncy chair in dining room when we have dinner but looks a bit out of it on the floor. Looking for something cheap.

I had a mamas and Papas one that reclined - wasn't cheap though - try an NCT sale ?

Kelix · 22/01/2009 23:51

had some nice cheap ones in Ikea the other day. not sure what age they can go in them from tho

anchovies · 22/01/2009 23:57

you can get the mamas and papas ones v cheap on ebay second hand, basically because as soon as they are eating they are an absolute nightmare to keep clean! Mine has only been used from 3 months until they can sit up in an ikea one!

I used a Fresco Loft (Bloom) for my baby to recline in at that age, but unfortunately it is not cheap. He loved to see everything happening around him in the kitchen, rather than being down at floor level.

bumbo?

gigglinggoblin · 23/01/2009 12:41

was also going to suggest a bumbo, sit him on the table in it. Bebe pods are similar but a bit cheaper.

i used my chicco happy snack which was bout £45/50 which reclines. i used it from 4/5m for exactly the same reason as you say. it lasted through two toddlers so was a good buy imo.

SpecialOffer · 23/01/2009 18:28

I have the chicco happy snack and used it like you from 4 months as it reclilnes. My son is 18m, and I am planning to still use it for the next baby!
