Best sling/carrier for a 16 month old?

Have been using a babyhawk until now, but can't get used to the back carry(just doesn't feel comfortable or secure) and dd is getting a too big to be carried on my front!

So, what is there I can try? What does everyone use to carry their toddlers?

I don't put DS in an all in one - just trousers, top and coat if really cold, woolly jacket thing otherwise. The babylegs are leg warmers that stop a gap and just add another layer on the exposed leg. He's certainly toasty warm like that.

The XL straps let my DH who is 6'3 and a 48" chest do a back carry in the same way and clothes, so you should be fine
