I'm in full milky flow at the moment and wondered if anyone had tried the lilypad plastic breast pad things? i'd love not to have to drown in too much waste ..

I used them from day one bf ds and felt they were the best invention ever.
never any leaks( but you do need to put them on properly) and could do away with a bra at night and just wear a t-shirt.

If I ever had another DC (which I won't) I would use them again.

I used them but not until quite late in bf (fed until 13 months and lived in fear of leaks throughout) prob started around six months - in hindsight I should have started much earlier. I seem to remember there's some issue they might mess up supply in the early days but norks didn't seem to have that problem. Much nicer than breast pads, easy to clean, less lumpy, can wear them swimming etc. A good thing imo

Fantastic!!! high recommend them! Used them from about 4 weeks!

just be careful as they can inhibit your milk flow in the begining when bf is not fully established

Can I also ask how long they last with regular use? I guess they will wear away as they are just thin silicone (much like teats of a bottle need replacing)
