Don't buy it. It's cr*p, it's not as easy as the box implies to make the models and the dye stains fingers. Why on earth use a water soluble dye on somehting you're going to be dipping in water??

Here here!! And it disintergrates if too much water is put on it.

Demented · 04/04/2005 15:46

Is that the stuff that looks like pastel coloured Wotsits?

Blossomhill · 04/04/2005 15:47

Yes I would agree. They don't stick either. Yet anotehr waste of money!

anorak · 04/04/2005 15:47

I've just 'accidentally' dropped my son's set in the bin, and now he has come home with a load of pics made with it at his childminder's because she wanted it out of the house too

SoupDragon · 04/04/2005 15:49

That's the stuff.

I would consider myself fairly talented in the craft department and even my cow looks nothing like the one on the box.

Ah, I'd bought this stuff for supernanny to use, and now understand why it was put on top of the fridge out of the way...

Gobbledigook · 04/04/2005 15:56

Oh, ds1 and ds2 quite like it!

sandyballs · 04/04/2005 15:57

Glad i'm not the only one who thinks it's absolute pants. My two got tons of it for their birthday and our carpet is stained by it.

I think it's probably good fun if you don't try to follow the instructions and just let the children do what they like.

What reall annoys me is that the dye doesn't completely wash off your hands in one easy go. It certainly comes of the s*dding maize easily enough.

Will avoid, have looked at it wistfully in ELC on a number of occasions, glad I didn't succumb!

I agree it is absolutly awful. Dd1 got brought a box of it by a friend who works in ELC.

It stained the table, the floor, everyones fingers and didn't stick like it said it would. We just eneded up with a big soggy mess.

Hulababy · 04/04/2005 20:52

Eeek...just bought a big bag of this, with some picture cards and a water/sponge for a friend's 5yo DD's birthday. She loves anything crafty - ooops, hope it is okay now!
