First class plus - standard UK option but only goes to 13 kg rearfacing

hiway rearfacing to 18kg

BeSafe iZi Combi or Kid, they are practically identical but the Combi can also be used FF from a later age. BeSafe site. Both take up very little space compared to other RF seats.

They are available in the UK but only for shocking prices, one MNer has just ordered one from Germany for a good price. I'll see if I can find the thread to link.

Ah, it was nicm but she didn't link to the site. Thread here.

Another vote for the britax hiway - it has some shortcoming but generally we're very happy with it.

Are these suitable for a car with with short seatbelts in the back (and no isofix)?

The BeSafe iZi ones are, don't know about the others though.

hi i ended up with the 2 way elite! it fits really well and i would say will fit in a car with small seatbelts. best bet is to call the in car safety centre if you can't get to it (belfast or milton keynes)and they may be able to help you. i went with this in the end as i could see the seat fitted before i bought it. i may if i can see another seat at a later date get one but thought i would go with this for now and am really happy with it. what's the model no of your volvo and i'll see if it's on the list on the instructions.

hth.

V70 (1998) - Tat's very helpful, thank you.

hi yes v70 is on the list. it says it's suitable for front seat, middle seat and rear outer seat. if you're still not sure you could call simon at the in car safety centre and speak to him and then i think you can buy off the website. hth
