jane carrera/soloor mac xt

cant decide?? who has had a carrera or solo??

I had a Carrera and liked it. I t felt more robust than a stroller. DS out grew it at 2 and I sold it. He is a big boy though.
I loved the adjustable handle but hated the brake! Plus it's stil bulky when folded, though not like the Nomad. It folds into a long rectanglular shape.
No experience of the other pushchair you mentioned, sorry.

that rules it out for me then. dd is 18 months and ds almost 3yo. both still use pushchairs so both may occasionally been using it.

xt it is then

I had the carrera and XT and have a Sonic at the mo. The carrera is more of a proper pushchair but gets heavy as they get older. The nomad is fab if have more room as is like the Slalom seat on 4wheels but even lighter but not umbrella fold. I find the Sonic easier to steer and recline and like the brake onit as it's on the handle so not fiddly on it better than the XT but the XT has a bigger seat and basket. The XT was too long for our car boot tho too which decided it for us!

xt will defo fit in my car as had my friends. they have changed brake on xt for 09 models. single centre number so should be better.

haven't got room for slalom/nomad or would be keeping the jane forest i'm selling.

think by sound of things i may be struggling to fit carrera in too. seems rather bulky folded

dont like the sonic. seen it in shops.seems a bit crap.

I remember seeing the forest on the Jane Spanish site and was dissapointed they didn't swivel as looked like a bargain with lovely big seats. Carrera is like a fat umbrella like pliko but tbh I wasn't very keen on the carrera at all but we can't all like the same I guess or life would be boring!

im not sure about wheels on carerra? look a bit too plasticky to me? i know the maclaren ones are nothing to write home about but with jane expect a bit more maybe im wrong tho??
