Soft carrycot for a buggy

I look after two small children who tend to only sleep if they're out in the pram. I have an Emmaljunga twin which doesn't fit through my front door so if they fall asleep when we're out I have to stay out until they wake up which isn't very nice considering the weather at the moment!

I also have a Jane powertwin but neither of them seem to like it and won't fall asleep in it because it's not as comfy as the other.

I'd like a soft carrycot (p&t cocoon or Graco) so that I can lift them out without disturbing them too much but I think we'd need something bigger.

Does anyone know how they attach to the buggy or do they just sit in unattached?

I think the P&T cocoon clicks in with a click at either side but ive always just placed it in, It fits snuggly with no movement.

Thanks for the replies!

lecohen - what length is yours? The children I'd need it for are quite a bit older than newborn!!

Hiya,

It's approx 73cm long

mogs0 · 19/01/2009 16:06

Are you in a rush to sell it? I'd need to check the length of the baby first and I'm not sure when he's going to be here next.

Hiya,

Am looking to get rid soon as it's in the way - like most things I tend to buy and don't need lol

Please let me know asap if that's alroght

mogs0 · 19/01/2009 16:09

It's in charcoal grey with a bit of lime green at the front...can take a pic if you need it

emmaljunga do their own version of the soft carrycot which should fit perfectly.

Yes the duo lift but the baby might be too big already by the sounds of it, worth checking though.

The duolift is too expensive for the amount I'll need to use it. I've looked for them on ebay but they seem to only come up on there with a pram.

Please can you tell me if you are interested in the soft carrycot as going to ebay it otherwise. Thanks
