Elmo am very close to adding that blac xt to basket on Boots...could have it for my hols...or buy yours if you don't like it

mrs.m your bumper bar on your p&t is it apple one that zips off or one of the stretchy black ones? im thinking of taking my bumper bar off now as its getting a pita getting luka in/out now he's bigger, im wondering that stretchy cover comes off and you can machine wash as want to do that if im going to take it off and put it away in the box.

also mrs.m you know when you said about your rusty rear wheel axles did kiddicare sending you new ones foc? i never heard back from oxford pram centre about mine

when do you go away again? im def taking xt to fueteventura only 3 weeks wednesday til we go can't wait!

trouble is if i dont like xt i wont loose a great deal when i sell on. and i know the sizes of xt. my friend has a v v tall dd same age as ds and she still has bags of room in it.

but i'm going into the carrera blind. and i'll be guaranteed to loose at least £100 quid. if not more.

but carrera also doesn't have a decent viewing window. and no idea if it has any pockets.

i think even though one handed pushing could be a pita. shortly elmo will be in nursery. and it's for using when out with ella when he's at nursery.

when going to pick up elmo from nursery and taking him i will always use one of doubles i think. plus new house is literally around corner from nursery/school.we go to end of street and turn corner and it's there. so not really got to worry about pushing one handed for long distances.

but they may be the odd occasion i will need one handed.

but xt has loads of other plus's that carrera doesn't. tilting hood/small raincover/travel bag(which i already have)/double wheels/soverign guarantee/pockets on hood and all those loevly accessories to jazz it up when i get bored..

jane only has single handle and bumper bar that xt doesn't

oh and my xt is in boots basket ready and waiting on forest selling

Nicola it's the stretchy one but I have a Snunkie cover on it now. You can't wash the black stretchy as it doesn't come off!

Yup, Kiddicare sent my BN axles so have kept them aside for when I sell as opposed to putting them on now

i would like to try a jane but they are expensive i would get the xt, like you say the one handed pushing thing doesn't happen much its fine one handed for crossing roads etc i don't have a problem they are such a good pushchair go on and on, and all the new acc's are gorgeous no doubt i will end up with a black one as im such a maclaren fan i will just have to have it. just been fiddling with mine putting xt footmuff back on as the i don't like the black zorbit one so much even tho it will make a lovely cotton liner for hols!!

xt has harness pads and infant hugger with basic package.so i can wait on new comfort packs

yep i noticed that elmo no more comfort packs you just buy the delicious ones when they come out i wonder how much they are going to be? and you can get a nice bright seat liner, any colour will go with the black, i love the yellow tho!

Nicola how do you adjust the handles on the XT then??

little clips you press in the handle just slides up and down similar to pliko i find them quite tall tho so i haven't adjusted mine but im a short arse! 5/3" off to drool on mac website now.

mrsm - you press a bit on back and pull up iykwim.

nicola - as long as there's shoulder pads there's no real need for comfort pack. just a lovely accesory to buy and chop and change. save me getting bored with it

i live the yellow and is it so terrible and wrong that i like the shiny retro 70's one that is shiny one side. and i think it was suede on other iirc

cheap,tacky but i love it

handles go almost as high as xlr. i compared to friends when i had xlr. they are good height.

wonder what this new "satin" feel handles will be like??

i'm only on alot today as had an offer. once i get this sorted i'm trying not to come on too much.

new house is spotless and kids are appreciating the extra attention when i'm offline.
