i prefer the blue to the black/red mrs.m can't you get that? would look lovely with orange and pink for dd?

nappy my ds fell back in his mothercare basic booster and i thought of getting a handysitt instead??

nappyaddict · 19/01/2009 14:21

oh perhaps that's what i am thinking of. which booster was it? how did he manage it i hope he wasn't hurt badly.

elmoandella · 19/01/2009 14:28

yes i still have shoulder pads in lambskin. £5 posted.

got bid on forest.£185. sent counter offer of £210. then i may possibly bide my time for a shiny new black xt to come in stock.

had locksmith round changing locks today as lost one when in the move. worried xdp had found it so changed tham. bloody £116 just for the chamber bit. nothing else. bloody rip off. but i feel better now its done.

what else could i get other than an xt??

nicolamumof3 · 19/01/2009 14:31

what about a dazzle elmo? they are high handles aren't they?

nappy it was a mothercare basic, we have a big pine farmhouse style table with like a rim going round under the table top so his legs only just go under table he can push himself back tipping up on seat iykwim. little monkey he was luckily ok considering he fell onto stone fireplace.

nicolamumof3 · 19/01/2009 14:32

got offer for £80 on lulu quest, countered £85 just want a bit more to cover the fees.

nappyaddict · 19/01/2009 14:33

this one?

What are you using now?

nicolamumof3 · 19/01/2009 14:37

yes thats the one, same seat we are using as realised all boosters would cause the same problem because they are lifting him to that height where he can reach table top. we've had no further instances just watch him like a hawk now!

elmoandella · 19/01/2009 14:40

dont like the dazzles. think the xt will look lush with lovely comfort pack. boots is doing them with 1520 points back?? whats that in monetary value??

will also call Stirling pram centre will order comfort packs/liners. but they will probably do a deal on the whole thing. just worried they may have a long order time if they dont have comfort pack already in stock.

nicolamumof3 · 19/01/2009 14:43

£15.20 elmo. i want a yellow comfort pack with the daisies on for the summer yummy!

comfort pack/liners due end of march according to maclaren when i rang them last week.

BexieID · 19/01/2009 14:44

elmo, just need to see if carrie still wants to sell the lambskin liner then.

MrsMagooo · 19/01/2009 14:46

The Blue isn't unisex enough for me as it's a very bright blue, plus I don't like the grey, the red id red & black where as the blue is blue & grey & I'm just not keen on the grey.

BS phoned back & they're not getting them in until Feb & when they do the price will have gone up & no raincover as the manufacturors have put the price up - would explain why PLO out their price up too.

nicolamumof3 · 19/01/2009 14:48

don't you hate it when you have to buy raincovers. i always think they should just be included.

noticed on xt spec it mentions about pocket for mosquito net so maybe it now includes one of them too?

BexieID · 19/01/2009 14:49

Does anyone have brightandshinys postal address they could e-mail me please? I've asked her for it, but shes not sent me it and I need to post the MB basket back to her (I can't find the bit of paper she posted me with it on either!). BexieID @ hotmail.com

MrsMagooo · 19/01/2009 14:51

I'm not as worried about the Raincover as I could just get a bog standard 3 wheeler raincover from UndercoverPVC for about £6....just wish I could find a black one

elmoandella · 19/01/2009 14:53

mrsm - how you finding the dakar?? it's a dream to push isn't it??

who had carrera pro?? was it nappy?? how does it compare to the xt?? i like the way it has single handle for pushing one handed.?? but because the fabrics are so padded does it make it bulky for an umbrella fold?? do you keep seat unit on to fold?? and is it as spacious as an xt??

nappyaddict · 19/01/2009 14:55

i've got the carrera cup.

nicolamumof3 · 19/01/2009 14:55

single bar would be good, i find the mac tricky if tate wants to hold my hand for any length of time. right must get ready for school run. i just don't feel right today. i hope im not getting another migraine. hopefully maclaren will be sold by end of day, need to get box out of shed.

elmoandella · 19/01/2009 15:01

so i need a review on jane solo and carrera. both have single bar and are umbrella folding one piece. i think.

loving the idea of bumper bar too. only problem will be fitting in a toddler???

pushchair · 19/01/2009 15:06

OMG I just won Mountain Buggy for £102. Plus will have to arrange a courier.
Now just have to work out finances.

elmoandella · 19/01/2009 15:07

well done pushchair. link please. i'm nosey.

carrera has 9cm more height so it must be much bigger height wise for toddler. plus has that new brake on handle thing.

really should go look at them and compare i think to xt before i buy.

lol. have to sell forest fist

pushchair · 19/01/2009 15:10

MB

MrsMagooo · 19/01/2009 15:11

Ooooo looks like I've found a black BJCM in stock ost me £10 more & no raincover but I'd much rather have the colour I really want then settle for one I don't really want & end up not liking it

Hey well done Pushchair fabby bargain - ooooo yes link please

Elmo the Dakar is so light, even with DD in it, I can't get over how light it is to push & it glides along! I've only used it twice though

MrsMagooo · 19/01/2009 15:14

Ooooo looks good Pushchair

elmoandella · 19/01/2009 15:15
