Libra I wouldn't leave the baby in a pushchair overnight. I think it could get uncomfortable for o long period and when you are asleep he could get overheated/ bang arms/try and turn. I was the type that had the baby in with them at the slightest thing.

nicolamumof3 · 20/01/2009 22:30

libra im not sure tbh but my own 'instinct' would be not to.

nicolamumof3 · 20/01/2009 22:32

i don't think they do mary poppins? check practical pushchairs if you call them they will advise im sure?

what ziko is it claret?

Libralovesbiscuits1975 · 20/01/2009 22:37

pushchair I don't have any problems with co-sleeping but he can't come in with me as the bed is flat (so same problem as travel cot) and there is no way I can raise a double bed at one end!

nicolamumof3, yes that's my instinct but he is my first and I was wondering if I was just being precious. I'm just not sure where to put him!

nicolamumof3 · 20/01/2009 22:39

no matter how many you have libra you can still be unsure i have three boys and still don't know what im doing half the time!!! my two youngest have had awful chesty coughs of late. all i can do is raise them with extra pillows but they are old enough to have pillows (18m and 3y) which has helped immensly.

pushchair · 20/01/2009 22:43

Libra I remember putting books under my mattress and having DD3 in bed with me. She had some sort of reflux and we had to keep her slightly inclined after feeds, weel most of the time actually.

pushchair · 20/01/2009 22:44

Hope you have a better night and Ds too. Night.

nicolamumof3 · 20/01/2009 22:45

night all xxx

claret1980 · 20/01/2009 22:46

Mamas & papas pushchair, I'm surprised you haven't had one!

cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=190281573072

Had one once before but swapped it for my 1st techno xt. Other pushchair going on ebay then. Although Black XT looks good.

Libralovesbiscuits1975 · 20/01/2009 22:46

oh that might be a plan, I didn't think that would work as a double mattress is so big and heavy. thanks for your help. night.

nicolamumof3 · 20/01/2009 22:48

yes i've had that one exact the same! i loved the footmuff 'i want chocolate and a toy' but preferred the suits me i had that as well claret. lovely buggies tho really sturdy. the only contender to my maclarens!

claret1980 · 20/01/2009 22:51

It doesn't have a raincover or footmuff though. I better get the other one on ebay then.

Maclaren · 20/01/2009 23:15

Libra when my Max was little he has bad reflux and my doctor recommened that he slept in his bouncy chair at night also when my sisters little boy was in hospital with such a bad chest infection he was in an oxygen chamber he slept in what looked like a carseat! against what everyone else is saying I think the XLR has quite a big seat and as you said is more padded than his travel cot I would let him sleep in it as its not much different from the bouncy chair. Hope that helps

You can get mattress type things that are elevated, iykwim (excuse my tired brain).

nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 07:58

morning all how is everyone today?

im looking forward to using the zapp today, just need a footmuff tho cos its looking a bit chilly out there today. will put luka in his snowsuit and should be alright!

MrsMagooo · 21/01/2009 08:23

Morning all,

I know it's to late noe Libra but it's always advised not to let baby sleep in a pram/pushchair over night to the fumes/chemicals etc etc it collects during the day due to being outside. I'm sure I have a link on it somehwhere.....

SGK I used P2Go for the first time - collected Monday & it was delivered yesterday

MrsMagooo · 21/01/2009 08:27

goodness me my spelling is awful today lol!

MrsMagooo · 21/01/2009 08:29

Nicola how old is Luka again? The Quinny footmuffs aren't very long, I struggled to get DD in hers at 2 & she is teeny (She's currently in 12-18 months clothes aged 2 & a half!)

mamadiva · 21/01/2009 08:39

Morning all,

How are we today? Am slowly getting better but DS has caught a nasty cough now Poor little mite.

Was going to walk into town and post Ebay stuff I sold but have emailed buyers and explained that I just couldn't. Feel bad but DS comes first.

techno · 21/01/2009 08:39

morning all!!
how is everyone?
glad you like the zapp nicola but best wait until you take it out lol you can always hear a zapp coming
i agree with MrsM about the quinny footmuffs though Aviva fitted in hers in the zapp when she was about 18m but her feet were right at the end and she is not especially tall for her age.
4seasons didnt sell on ebay relisted but do you think i should lower price? i obviously dont want to give it away for peanuts!
unless anyone on here has an mpx system or loads of bee accs they will swap for it

MrsMagooo · 21/01/2009 08:58

LOL Techno o yeah forgot about how noisy Zapps are - sounds like a shopping trolley doesn't it lol!

Awww that's a shame about 4Seasons - maybe drop price by £10-£15 but I'd be reluctant to drop it by any more then that tbh!

nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 08:59

i've taken the zapp out already!! iloved it yday on the school run and will try it again later! how does zapp footmuff compare to p&t sleepin bag mrs.M? lenghtwise? Maybe i could just use that in the zapp, i just like all the matching acc's tho!

going to buy a basket i think if i still like the zapp after today (you guys are putting me off it even tho i love it )

Mama hope you are all better soon, my boys have had chesty coughs a couple of weeks now not nice, especially at night.

Fara the 4seasons will sell, don't think they are on offer anywhere atm either? so all about £220 plus new? im the same with my techno really want that to sell so i can buy my black mac!
