Right, decided (I think) on a Maclaren Triumph (Navy), where's the best place to buy one?

I need a lightweight buggy and having looked around i think i've decided on a Maclaren Triumph.
Dh said he would like a Navy one (we have 2 boys, will it look weird in the future if we have a girl??) but otherwise not too fussed.

I saw a red one in Boots for £83 & I have about £12 worth of advantage points.

So anywhere better than about £70. And does anyone know if I can get a navy one in Boots? The don't have any triumphs on their website so i'm thinking it's a local one-off offer.

I am looking at a few on Ebay but fancy a new one

Before I get one - any reasons why I should consider anything else?

Swear by Maclaren Techno XT - it has bigger wheels and therefore drives better but folds up just as easily. Also goes almost flat for younger babies. They say suitable from birth but is not totally flat. I got mine from www.kiddicare.com.

Thanks Fossil - it says it's heavier on the Maclaren comparison chart though and i want a lightweight one.

Was tempted by the Volo but it doesn't recline at all so not so good i don't think.

Will look at kiddicare, thanks

I got a Triumph about 3 years ago from kiddicare. It was half price as it was a discontinued colour I think.

Hi, ds aged one hated the triumph because he couldnt sit up straight in it, still hates it at 2 and half when went to sit in sil one.

Got second hand techno instead, was trying to save money originallybut wish i had just spent extra. Dont feel techno is that much heavie, as folds up quite small.
The quest seat also seems a bit better than triumph

i would rather have a volo than a triumph tbh. the new volo's also have a slight recline. how old is your dc? i would certainly consider a quest or xt as the xt will have a bigger seat for a toddler but also lies flatter for a younger baby.

There was an ebay seller with navy triumph's they were 45 pounds, I saw them yesterday (bought a bright pink new one thur but from local pram shop).

I have 2 quests, a triumph and a volo. I am a bit funny about small babes in buggies so dd just turned 2 and I am only just ready for triumph and volo but that is prob just me. For 45 brand new I would say you can't go far wrong!!
