problem putting together Ikea Trofast storage - aaaah

It was all going so well....
Tearing my hair out as some panels seem not to fit the spaces they should with those little wooden join things (oh, so technical). Just looks like the panels need to be slightly arched to fit and guess what, even crap wood won't bend that much. Anyone else suffered the same problem. Sooo, want to do it this morning and refuse to be defeated...

Oooh I put all mine together a few days before having dd, I ended up on the floor crying , but then I had brought 8 units, and I was obviously very big and tired.

One was so bent out of shape that it had to be swapped. Most will fit if you bash the hell out of them gently wiggle them into place.

I tried 'gently easing' already and managed to split the wood a little!! Oh well, better go and look for a hammer..

Sorry, we thought they were very simple to put up.

Just check the orientation of the panels as often they all look the same but with a very minor difference.
