Best cheapie toy kitchen, £30 max

I have looked for this subject and there are loads of threads but lots of the links don't work.

I have a tall almost 2yr old boy and I don't need it to last forever as he is my last child but then again I don't want it to fall apart straight away! My 5 year old will play with it too no doubt.

There are two different smoby ones in Argos, a few in toys r us but the elc one is too expensive.

The only feature I know I need is at least 2 different sides/areas to it so when 2 kids are plating with it they are not fighting constantly.

Thanks

There is a Tesco one my twin sisters have and they play rough it lasted a year and a half. Think it was £25 but TBH it's the same as the little Tefal on you get.

I think the tefal ones are made by smoby as they look virtually the same. they have a couple of different ones in argos.

Lidl have some toy kitchens in at the mintue for £25.00.

These are out of Argos. A few for under £30.00

mamadiva · 13/01/2009 15:24

Thats the same as the Tesco one, it does.nt feel very sturdy but as I say it's lasted through my twin sisters and my DS, they are all under 4!, so you should be fine LOL.

The Entertainer have got a toy kitchen reduced from £40 to £17.49.

A friend has one and it looks sturdy enough.

Sorry can't do links but it comes up under their sale stuff on website.

Lidl had a fab one for about £24 when I was in there this weekend.

If you can stretch to £39.09, my girls got this one for Christmas, and love it!

simpson · 13/01/2009 16:10

mamadiva - thats the one

I bought one today for DD who is only one for her 2nd birthday.

Will keep it in attic till then

mysteryfairy · 13/01/2009 17:53

We have had the ELC sizzlin kitchen for five years and it is still going strong. It is still in stock in Boots online sale for £29.36 (half price so within your budget).

Rumour has it the sale will go to 75% off tomorrow - you might get a real bargain then!
