Dull search but if anyone can help I would really appreciate it I am looking for HUGE plastic storage boxes

We have been looking for storage boxes that will hold
floor tiles
at our play group - they have to be tidied away each week and our cardboard boxes have finally given up today

I have searched but they are 61cm x 61cm and I can't find a box that will hold them and still be able to put on the lid. (we have LOADS of them so we could do with 2-3 big boxes rather than loads of little ones that hold a few iykwim)

Thanks in advance

Hmm, I immediately thought of these ikea boxes but they're 79x57 so not quite deep enough. I suppose they might store a fair number at a slant and they're pretty cheap.

CarGirl · 12/01/2009 17:19

Hmmm Tesco have some massive ones in store not sure about on line though?

georgimama · 12/01/2009 17:19

Have you tried wilkinsons? They have loads of plastic storage things. Not sure if any that big though.

CarGirl · 12/01/2009 17:21

hmm too small I think

KnickKnackNaNewYear · 12/01/2009 17:26

What about one of those "garden storage for lawnmower" type thing?
here
or do you need to be able to move it? or not have enough space indoors for it?

KnickKnackNaNewYear · 12/01/2009 17:27

they usually come in various sizes

CarGirl · 12/01/2009 17:28

What about large laundary bags?

ByThePowerOfGreyskull · 12/01/2009 17:42

car girl you may have the answer - thanks - will have a search for those..

KnickKnackNaNewYear - we have to be able to move the boxes and we are using a room that is in a church so we have to put everything away totally at the end of each session..

Thanks for all your help ladies.

or even those Ikea bags, sturdy and inexpensive

ByThePowerOfGreyskull · 12/01/2009 17:53

thanks cargirl - the ikea bags aren't deep enough (have tried) do you knwo what those nylon laundry bags are called?

I have been trying to search for them and keep coming up with things that are totally irrelevant.

Au Naturale have huge boxes but not sure what size they are?

UnfortunatelyMe · 12/01/2009 17:57

morrisons have HUGE big boxes, plastic

CarGirl · 12/01/2009 17:59

I've googled reusable zip bags and found them but none big enough yet. Perhaps you will need to get them made for you?

duvet storage bag www.caraselledirect.com/_/pack_of_10_duvet_storage_bags.2-10.php?Referrer=Froogle&View_Type=Remote#A Description

bookthief · 12/01/2009 18:03

Actually, you could probably quite easily run up some bags in a very heavy cotton. These tiles presumably aren't heavy.
