Should I ask for some money back or am I being miserable?

OK - honest opinions please - should I ask for some money back or am I being miserable?

I ordered a single bed and a headboard from Dreams for DS. Delivery was arranged for today. I have paid £32 for delivery [ouch!].

Anyway they have phoned to say they are coming today with only the bed and that I will have to rearrange delivery for the headboard as they couldn't get it from the warehouse. (too late to cancel bed and say deliver them together as bed is already on lorry).

I really want both items today as arranged because

-well I just want the order as agreed because I want to get it all set up over the weekend when DH is here to help me with baby, toddler and this stuff
-I am annoyed at having to wait in again next week for another delivery (headboard) and annoyed that I will have to take off my stairgates again (they are in a big of a tight spot so it is hard to get round the top one carrying something).
-Dreams is a massive company - I wouldn't ask for money off a small business. They can afford it and they are giving me a cack service

I want to ask for some money back - perhaps £10 off the headboard or £10 off the delivery charge as I don't feel that I have got what I paid for. Am I being miserable or would you do this? (my mum says I am being unreasonable!).

ring and cause a fuss about items not coming together ask if they CAN get it too you?, if not say you are not rpepared to pay delivery/full delivery as youa re not getting your goods together as promised!?

I agree you should ask for a reduction on the delivery.

Yes I agree, I would ask for some money off and also cause a fuss and see if you can get the headboard delivered over the weekend. Tell them that you will completely cancel the order if they are not going to do this and you will take your business elsewhere.

I am not that miserable then
