New Volvo remote key fob?

Anyone know the best way to get a new remote key fob for a Volvo V40? Called the dealer and they quoted crazy money!

We did have 2 but DH has lost his (!) and if we lose mine we would be really stuck.

A friend had this problem. Couldn't find it cheaper elsewhere, had to fork out. Sorry.

Annoyingly they found the old remote months later in the pocket of a rarely used coat.

We have a remote fob for a 56plate V70 - car written off last week. Check with the dealer to see if it can be re-programmed and how much they would charge, and if it is do-able make us an offer as DH was going to put his on Ebay.

(Sorry can't give away but DH currently unemployed).
