but what on earth are those little spikes of rubber sticking out from the wheels? They're normal tyre type wheels (even have a valve on like you get on car tyres) but there are little tiny fine spikes sticking up all way round, they're really flimsy and can't be for grip as they squash flat as soon as they're wheeled over. So what on earth are they for?

Don't forget to inflate the tyres! I was annoyed that they don't include a pump, thankfully I had one for my old Hauck Infinity.

Hmmm couldn't do it at a petrol station could I? The pressures too high isn't it? I'm now picturing my beloved pushchair floating away on three giant tyres

we do ours at the petrol station

i tried to keep mine clean but with ds2 and 3 it hasn't been easy, when ds2 goes in doubles he has to take off muddy boots if wearing so as not to dirty my shopping basket lol!!

i always use with a seat liner so the seat is still pretty pristine!!

oh I was joking about that but it's good to know I can do it when we're checking the car tyres next time.

NB re pushchairs with too-small harnesses, the harnesses you get with reins (from Mothercare etc) usually have extra bits that you can fix to D-rings in the pushchair

works a treat with dd, who objects to having her shoulders pinned back against the seat and prefers to sit forwrads hanging over the bar...

LOL...I thought I had a strange level of obsession with my P&T...you lot have me in stiches...white gloves, seat liners, slippers...
The wheels are great and yes, v. bouncy...but I do struggle with big stairs as I'm always scared of banging my 2 month old dd's head in the reclined main seat...and it does swing about a bit, but she doesnt seem to mind, in fact it helps her sleep! probably paranoia on my part but the littley is v. close to the ground...
