Right here goes......

DD is 9.5 months and her current buggy got stuck in the boot catch and the harness clip has snapped.

Requirements:

  • Budget of about £100
  • Really, really want a rearward facing option as I tried a forward facing and hated not being able to see her
  • Decent shopping basket
  • Girlyish.
  • LOVE the ICandy Apple.

I shall await all of your worldly insight

can you maybe get a replacement harness? Not what you wanted to hear i expect lol!

Not rearward facing but I think the Maclaren Techno has the all round seal of approval when it comes to pushchairs.

Steer away from the M&P ones their customer service is so shite.

I wouldn't worry about not being able to see her - soon she will want to see what is going on infront of you - DS hated being facing me quite quickly!

fortunately the buggy is no longer sold (I2I Maxx)

I know it sounds stupid but when I bought the last one I didn't know if it was for a ds or a dd so it had to neutral, so now I'd quite like a girly one.

i bought a bebe confort streety which was lovely, chassis looked a bit like a bee, rear facing they do it in girly framboise, cheaper than a loola. check out baby value on ebay. i got mine less than half price listed as new but was bnib! i didn't keep as couldn't push with one hand or lift up kerbs with one hand (also have a toddler) but otherwise it was a lovely pushchair, folded one piece and compact too!

We are about to sell an icandy apple on ebay but they go for more than £100 second hand but my DD after 8-9 months didn't want to face me and few of my friends got beyond 12 months before their children demanded to see the world.
